This production showcases a talented ensemble of high school performers from across Central Indiana, whose skill, passion, and dedication bring every scene to life.Based on the historic Newsboys Strike of 1899, the show follows Jack Kelly and his fellow newsies as they fight for fairness against powerful publishers. Bursting with rousing anthems, dazzling choreography, and a message of courage and community, Newsies captivates audiences of all ages.Experience the next generation of remarkable young performers as they bring this beloved musical to life at the Schrott Center for the Arts. Dont miss the excitement, energy, and heart of Summer Stock Stages production of Newsies! Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket for admission. No Cameras, Audio, Video, refunds, or exchanges. The ticket holder grants permission to Butler University and affiliates to utilize holders' images or likeness incidental to any live or recorded video display, photograph or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the event in which this ticket admits the ticket holder.
