The rhythms of Central America’s Garifuna coast, driven by layered percussion, call-and-response vocals, and traditions passed down through generations. Formed in Belize, the group continues a musical lineage carried from St. Vincent, where the Garifuna people emerged from a blend of West and Central African and Indigenous Arawak cultures, preserving language, rhythm and identity. Their work includes the critically acclaimed album Wátina, recognised by WOMEX and the BBC World Music Awards, and named Amazon’s No. 1 World Music Album of All Time. An evening taking you into a living tradition of rhythm, voice and movement, where history, culture and sound converge in real time. Enjoy a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant.
