An Independence Day fiesta like no other. We celebrate the cultural icon who brought the sounds of Afro-Colombian and Indigenous traditions to audiences around the world, Totó La Momposina. Through cumbia, bullerengue, tambora and mapalé, Totó preserved generations of musical tradition while inspiring countless Latin artists. Led by Colombian singer Angelica Lopez and a full live band, the evening draws on the vibrant rhythms, rich percussion and communal spirit that defined Totó’s music.
